Graduation Day

I graduate in just under 5 hours.
Everything is planned out perfectly. From my ride there, to where I sit, to where to meet up with my friends afterwards. I couldn't be more excited (and nervous). Even if the ceremony is more than boring.

The party afterwards is going to be insane. The bingo section of the "Casino" has $1,000 in prizes. And that's just bingo.
Oh and I have no curfew.
Tonight is going to be pure insanity. And quite possibly the best night of my life.

Congratulations my fellow Bombers.
We never have to go back to High School again.

Last Day of School

There will be no pictures. Sometimes you just gotta live in the moment ya know??

Seminary
I held in tears as we read Oh The Places You'll Go, received advice from our teacher, and bore our testimonies. Seminary has changed my life, and it breaks my heart to think about the fact that I'm never going back.

Senior Writing
Neid asked us to write him a letter about all the things we learned in his class. Afterwards, I asked him to sign my yearbook. Once he was finished, he called out my name a little too loudly. I turned to him and he had a look on his face that made me think he'd just solved world hunger. He got the class' attention and very loudly told them that when I was a freshman, I had Neid first period. And my very last class at RHS, was Neid's class. It was a little too sentimental for my tastes.

Grad Practice
Was a waste of time in my opinion. It was a total of about 20 minutes once everyone sat down.

Lunch
The Core Four went to Frost Me Sweet to try their food and well . . . it was delish. I plan to go back often  : )
Also, they serve Mountain Dew. Need I say more?

Swimming
The boys invited us swimming. So naturally we said yes. But none of us wanted to get our hair wet, or have raccoon eyes. If you know what I'm sayin'. So our plan was to get our bodies wet, but mostly just lounge by the pool and soak up some much needed sun. But then the splashing started. So we moved away from the diving board. I sat on the edge while Jess and Kelci stood in the shallow end. Then the boys approached and I knew what was coming. I backed up and sat in a chair and watched while Jess and Kelci were splashed and dunked. I laughed and thought I was safe. Then Dennis headed over to me. He picked up my chair with me in it. The rest was a blur and before I could really fight off the massive Dennis, I was in the water. We all just accepted it and swam around for a couple hours.
Afterwards Kelci, Ethan and myself went to Maui's Apple.
Then I came home and inspected my sun burn. It's not too terrible. I was just hoping my legs would get tan. Not my arms.
Oh well.

Kelci and I are hoping to go back to the pool tonight  : )

Happy Summer!

Cheers To The Freakin' Weekend

I'd like to build up the anticipation and do my weekend in parts, but I just don't have the patience. So you'll have to endure this mile-long post.
: )

FRIDAY
Senior Skip Day. I went to Seminary (cause who would ever choose to miss a lesson from Brother Black?) then went to the Pratt's to do my Saturday job on Friday. Once that was done I went back to school for the last 5th Hour Lunch Crew BBQ party of the year. My belly enjoyed a delicious burger. Afterwards, Jess, Bri, Dallin, Cameron and myself went to Jess' and picked up food for the Seminary Closing Social. Then we got pop at WINCO and headed to Leslie Groves for a partaayyy! I skipped rocks, watched volleyball and ultimate Frisbee, ate some good food, played on the toy, went down to the dock, and sat on a swing with my homies.
While all of this was happening, my friends and I were plotting how to keep Kelci occupied before her surprise graduation/birthday/going-away party. She was being more than difficult. But we won't go into that.
After the social, the Core Four & a half (Ethan apparently sees himself as half a person) went to Maui's Apple then to Jess' after that. Right on schedule, Kelci's parents called and told her to get ice cream from Fred Meyer's and come home to see her uncles. She was not happy. We told her we'd still be at Jess' and for her to come back later that night. The second she shut the door we were up, putting on our shoes, grabbing our keys and hurrying to my car. We piled in and sped to Kelci's house. We parked around the corner and met up with everyone else in the garage.
No more than 6 minutes later Kelci showed up. This is what she said "Is this for me?". Then she saw the four of us and got even more confused. It was priceless.
The theme of the party was Casino Robertson. It was a blast. I'm now pro at black jack. I made $3,225 playing that game. I left with candy, $10 and a DQ gift card. Kelci's parents definitely know how to throw a party.
Once the party was over, the five of us went back to Jess' and taught Ethan how to wobble. We got doowwwwn.
And that was my Friday  : )

SATURDAY
Wow. Where to begin.
Maybe I should just tell my day in pictures and you can use your imagination.

Tandem bikes for miles.

Our last stop before returning the bikes

Coolest people you'll ever meet.

Precious

Before starting our scavenger hunt, we went to Frost Me Sweet.
Then we opened our first envelope for the scavenger hunt and found this:
You can put that in the Of Course file

Plank in the mall

Sit in a wheelchair at the hospital

Ride a skater's board

Feed the swans

Take a picture with a hot pink bowling ball

This was for the golf course challenge

Once the scavenger hunt was done Kelci split off and went to a family dinner.
Jess, Bri and myself went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and inhaled our food.
But before we could leave, I was forced onto the saddle while everyone in the place looked on.
A server yelled out my name, age, and asked for a big Texas Roadhouse YEEHAAHH!!!
It was traumatizing.
Afterwards, we went bowling with Kelci, then out looking for a scary movie.
This was the first movie we came upon:

Jess hates scary movies.
Coincidence?

We got the movie "Obsessed" and watched it at my place.
Then we said our goodbyes and the night was over.
Definitely the best birthday I've ever had.
Hands down.

SUNDAY
The real birthday. I slept in, got all cute, then went to a wonderful sacrament meeting. After church we had a presidency meeting at my house. Then I got to talk to some family on the phone. We proceeded to have family dinner and open presents.
I scored big time.
Cake and ice cream to come later  : )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.

*Side note* while at Texas Roadhouse, I saw an Elder that was recently transferred out of my ward. We never got to say goodbye. So that was a nice surprise  : )  He was very excited to see me.  >girlish giggle<
